If you were to ask 10 people about their experiences or how they’re feeling these days, 7 out of 10 would probably say that they are MIS-ER-A-BLE!!! This virus has really knocked us for a loop, kicked us out of our comfort zones, and many are feeling like “This sucks!” Even through these days of concern and despair, one of the words that continues to flow through my noggin is “love.” As Kirk Franklin says at the beginning of Love Theory, “Brothers and sisters, I wanna welcome you back to life!” Come on, folks! Snap out of this funk and begin to love life again!
First Corinthians 13:7 NLT states, “Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” The existence of COVID-19 is definitely a circumstance to endure; we are to remain hopeful, and we should not lose our faith in God! It’s so easy to get caught up in the negativity that’s saturating the media right now, but we know better than that! It has been a joy to see how people have been creative in making the best out of this grim situation such as pass-along challenges on TikTok and virtual parties. Let’s be above-average like we KNOW to be, boldly declare the victory, and do something daily to show that we’re still loving life in the midst of all this! What do you love to do? What activities bring joy to your life? We would love for you to share those lovely and joyous activities with us! You can leave a comment and/or post pics & videos–use the hashtag, #welcomebacktolife.
